Lynn Willard MA, MSW, LCPC, LCSW
Lynn Willard earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from Illinois State University in 1974 and 1975 respectively. She completed her Master of Social Work in 1992 at the University of Illinois. She has worked in child welfare for nearly 25 years, and has done clinical work in sexual abuse since 1990. Lynn started ABC Counseling and Family Services in 1992 to meet the needs for child sexual abuse assessment and treatment

Amanda Hays BA
Amanda Hays earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota in 2002. She began working at ABC as the Adoption Specialist in 2004 after being certified by DCFS for adoption work. Amanda works with birthparents to formulate adoption plans, approves adoptive parent applications and provides post-placement services for both domestic and international adoptions.

Lynn Necessary has been working at ABC Counseling and Family Services since 1999. She serves as the administrative assistant and billing coordinator.

Doug Necessary
serves ABC Counseling and Family Services as the volunteer computer technician. He maintains the local network and file backup procedures, as well as maintaining security for the ABC servers.


Scott Nafziger CPA earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State in 1998. He serves as the accountant for ABC.


Tom Jenkins MA, LPC
Thomas (Tom) Jenkins earned an Associates Degree from Illinois Central College in 1985, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University in 1987. His Master of Arts in Counseling was obtained from Liberty University in 2002. Tom brings over 20 years of experience working with abused and behavioral disordered children to ABC. He works at ABC's Normal office.

Laura's Jennings-Mitchell LCSW
           Laura Jennings-Mitchell earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Knox College in 2001, and completed her Master of Social Work degree at Illinois State University in 2003. She first interned at ABC, and was hired to the full time staff immediately after. Laura works at ABC's Normal office.

Kelly Fein MSW, LSW
Kelly Fein earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in 2001, followed by her Master of Social Work in 2004. She began as an intern at ABC Counseling in 2004, and began full time employment in 2005. Kelly was instrumental in bringing the services of ABC Counseling to the Champaign/Urbana community, and she continues to work at the ABC's Champaign/Urbana office.

Dave Metcalfe MS, LPC
Dave Metcalfe earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Illinois State University in 1988 and his Master of Science degree in Counselor Education in 1990. He has completed 80 hours of Illinois Department of Family Services' training in working with Sexually Aggressive Children and Youth (SACY).  Dave works in ABC's Decatur office. dave@abccounseling.org


Jolene Watson MSW
Jolene Watson earned her Bachelor of Arts from Millikin University in 2002 and her Master of Social Work from Illinois State University in 2006. She has experience working as a Behavior Health Specialist and a psychiatric rehabilitation coordinator with mentally ill individuals. Before coming to ABC, Jolene interned at DCFS and at ABC. She works in ABC's Decatur office.

Trisha Malott, MSW
Trish Malott earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University in 2001 and her Master of Social Work degree in 2007. She has worked with ABC's adoption program developing a training curriculum for adoptive parents' seminars. Currently, she works as a sexual abuse counselor. Additionally, Trish was instrumental in the success of our most recent Gifts From The Heart annual fundraiser.
